The Flagler Awards

The Flagler Awards are an annual statewide competition recognizing outstanding Florida tourism marketing. The program was created by VISIT FLORIDA to honor organizations and individuals who promote Florida as a leading travel destination. Each year the Flagler Awards recognize work that demonstrates strong strategy, execution, and measurable results.

ENTRY DEADLINE:  Friday, May 29, 2026

  • All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM on Friday, May 29, 2026.
  • The cost to enter is $90 per entry or $75 per entry for VISIT FLORIDA Partners.

Who should enter?

Any Florida-based business, organization or individual actively involved in promoting the various products and experiences that make up Florida’s tourism industry may enter the Flagler Awards. Participation is not limited to VISIT FLORIDA Partners.

At the direction of their client, entries may also be prepared and submitted by professional marketing companies or individuals involved with the creation and implementation of the entry. This includes advertising, public relations, design, social media, web and other marketing agencies. Awards for winning entries are presented to the tourism or hospitality client for whom the work was performed. 

What should I enter?

You can enter any marketing materials, programs, events or activities used during the 2025 calendar year to promote a Florida tourism product, service or experience to visitors. At least one major component (planning, development, or execution) must have taken place in calendar year 2025.
