Flagler Awards Judging

Each year, a new panel of experts is recruited to judge the Flagler Awards. All judges are tourism and/or marketing professionals who represent various disciplines and backgrounds. Judges will be announced at the Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism (Aug. 28-30, 2024) in Tampa, Florida.

Using a 100-point scale, judges independently evaluate each entry on two major components: the Entry Summary and Support Materials, each worth 50 points. The panel of judges uses these two components to evaluate each entry on its own merits. The three highest scoring entries in each category receive awards: Bronze for the third highest score, Silver for the second highest score, and for the highest scoring entry, “The Henry” Award. There is only one round of judging and all decisions are final.

  • Annual marketing budgets of $150,000 to $500,000
  • Annual marketing budgets of $500,000 to $2 million
  • Annual marketing budgets of more than $2 million

To be eligible for a Best of Show Award, you must select which budget category applies to your organization in the Entrant Information section of the Entry Form.
