Flagler Awards Judging

Each year, a new panel of experts is recruited to judge the Flagler Awards. All judges are tourism and/or marketing professionals who represent various disciplines and backgrounds. Judges will be announced at the Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism (Sept. 9-11, 2026) in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Using a 100-point scale, judges independently evaluate each entry on two major components: the Entry Summary and Support Materials, each worth 50 points. Judges evaluate how clearly the entry defines its audience and objectives, how effecitvely it is executed, and the strength of the results. The three highest scoring entries in each category receive awards: Bronze for the third highest score, Silver for the second highest score, and the Henry Award for the highest scroing entry. There is only one round of judging and all decisions are final.
